SOC TRANG, VIETNAM<\/strong> \u2013 29 th\u00e1ng 10 n\u0103m 2024<\/strong>a groundbreaking initiative to address the growing environmental challenge of plastic waste from aquaculture was officially launched in Soc Trang Province. On October 29, 2024, key stakeholders gathered for the project launch event, \"Establishing a Sustainable, Efficient, and Scalable System for Collecting and Converting Used Pond Liners in Soc Trang Province.\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n ESV, Dow and Soc Trang DARD officially joined hands to launch the project<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n The project, led by Evergreen Social Ventures (ESV) and sponsored by Dow Vietnam through the Charities Aid Foundation America (CAFA), aims to create a circular economy for plastic materials in the region while significantly reducing plastic waste from the rapidly growing shrimp farming industry in Soc Trang Province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The event celebrated the launch of the project and solidified the collaboration between ESV, Dow Vietnam, and Soc Trang\u2019s Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.
