Join us in promoting the building of a circular economy for plastic waste in Vietnam
Membership, admission criteria and required funding contributions are divided into three levels as follows
Core members
- There are large potential projects or large projects underway to promote circular economy in Vietnam
- Contribute to the costs of administrative activities of PPC on the basis of equal division among members such as: costs of organizing conferences, seminars, communication costs of PPC
- Participate in developing and approving the master plan and promoting the implementation progress of projects, programs and activities of PPC and reporting progress to the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment;
- Nominate 1 member to participate in meetings of PPC and other members to participate in 04 professional groups.
- PPC and core members will hold a meeting to consider and approve the admission of new core members. The maximum number of founding members of PPC is 5 core members, including members at the time of establishment. Founding members of PPC promoting the construction of a circular economy for plastic waste according to the public-private partnership model include: Dow Chemical Vietnam Company Limited (Dow), Unilever Vietnam International Company Limited (Unilever) and Long Son Petrochemical Company Limited (Subsidiary of SCG) are core members.
- Core members will select a qualified independent organization to manage the funding and expenses of PPC.
Regular members
are members from the private sector who wish to participate to contribute to promoting the circular economy in Vietnam but do not meet the standards to become core members. Criteria and benefits of regular members include the following
- Financial contributions to support ongoing projects, programs and activities of PPC;
- Work with each professional group leader to identify projects, programs and activities you want to participate in together;
- Nominate 1 member to work with the professional team to promote the progress of identified projects to support implementation;
- Post the company's logo in all media events and promotional materials of PPC.
Project partner or advisor
re individuals and organizations that have the ability, desire, or are directly participating in supporting common and private projects of PPC. Membership fees do not apply to partners or project advisors. The logos of these project partners or project advisors will be posted at events related to projects supported by the project partner or project advisor.
